How does your factory control quality?
We are an ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and UL certified manufacturer with a comprehensive quality control system. Our 50+ quality staffs implement CKP, PFMEA to monitor our production process:
IQC (AQL=0.65) → IPQC → 100% Testing/X-Ray Inspection → 100% FQC → 1st OQC (AQL=0.65) → 2nd OQC (AQL=0.65).

Additionally, we conduct hourly terminal pull tests, and all crimped terminals undergo 100% magnification inspection prior to assembly.

 

Is there any environmental risk on materials?
we are an ISO9001/IATF16949 certified company, and all materials comply with RoHS and REACH standards. We source components from established long-term partners, and our products have been exported to Europe and North America for 25+ years. For added assurance, we can provide a COC upon request.

 

How to customize your products?
If you have technical drawings please send them to us. Or please send us photos or samples instead if no drawingsalong with your specifications and details. Pls include wire gauge, length and wiring diagram; connector/terminal P/N or types; shield covering materials; any other special requirements. We can assist in creating the technical drawing and provide it for your approval.

Wire Harness Assemblies

A cable harness, also known as a wire harness, cable assembly, wiring assembly or wiring loom, is an assembly of cables or wires which transmit signals or electrical power. The cables are bound together by straps,cable ties, cable lacing, sleeves,electrical tape, corrugated tube, a weave of extruded string, or a combination thereof.

Commonly used in automobiles, as well as construction machinery, cable harnesses provide several advantages over loose wires and cables. For example, many aircraft, automobiles and spacecraft contain many masses of wires which would stretch over several kilometers if fully extended. By binding the many wires and cables into a cable harness, the wires and cables can be better secured against the adverse effects of vibrations, abrasions, and moisture. By constricting the wires into a non-flexing bundle, usage of space is optimized, and the risk of a short is decreased. Since the installer has only one harness to install (as opposed to multiple wires), installation time is decreased and the process can be easily standardized. Binding the wires into a flame-retardant sleeve also lowers the risk of electrical fires.
Production
Cable harnesses are usually designed according to geometric and electrical requirements. A diagram is then provided (either on paper or on a monitor) for the assembly preparation and assembly.

The wires are first cut to the desired length, usually using a special wire-cutting machine. The wires may also be printed on by a special machine during the cutting process or on a separate machine. After this, the ends of the wires are stripped to expose the metal (or core) of the wires, which are fitted with any required terminals or connector housings. The cables are assembled and clamped together on a special workbench, or onto a pin board (assembly board), according to the design specification, to form the cable harness. After fitting any protective sleeves, conduit, or extruded yarn, the harness is either fitted directly in the vehicle or shipped.
In spite of increasing automation, in general, cable harnesses continue to be manufactured by hand, due to the many different processes involved, such as:
· routing wires through sleeves,
· taping with fabric tape, in particular on branch outs from wire strands,
· Crimping terminals onto wires, particularly for so-called multiple crimps (more than one wire into one terminal),
· inserting one sleeve into another,
· fastening strands with tape, clamps or cable ties.
Pre-production can be automated in part. This affects:
· Cutting individual wires (cutting machine),
· crimping terminals onto one or both sides of the wire,
· partial plugging of wires prefitted with terminals into connector housings,
· Soldering of wire ends (solder machine)
· Twisting wires.
Testing the electrical functionality of a cable harness can be done with the aid of a test board, The circuit diagram data are pre-programmed into the test board, where harnesses can be tested individually or in multiple numbers.

In order to improve our productivity to meet customer flexible requirement, we just expand our Dongguan Factory and redecorated the old one. We applied some modern management: automatic lifting table, display SOP, Drawings by screen, which help us save lots of time in MP.

The better news is that we also opened another plant on 26th Oct in JiangXi province. Now we have plenty of capacity, as factory almost reach 13000 suqare. The main advantages of ETOP is to provide harness design assistance, rapid in-house prototyping(CAD, SOLIDWORK), manufacturing engineering, tool making, also accept flexible Qty,even including working round-the-clock to meet tight turning-round time requirements. The most mini type of waterproofing connector is JWPF series from JST. But the common color from JST is natural one. If you want to make by different color, we can dye for you to be red or black or any other color as your want. Also the molex one are mini type by waterproofing. The new type of mini waterproof connector designed from tyco recentely, they have different color available. JST L/T: 8~12wks, Tyco L/T: 4~6wks. Molex L/T: 8~10wks


Yeah the size of molex one still a little bigger than the JST and molex one. Molex has 2pin, 3pin, 4pin. And JST has 2PIN, 3PIN,4PIN,6PIN,8PIN, Tyco only has 2pin and 3pin recently. However as it's the new product from tyco, so they have quite good price and L/T for promotion.
